Graduating from the University of Westminster, Iman Keaik holds a postgraduate degree in Architecture with more than a year of experience working with SSH Design on the National Bank of Kuwait designed by Foster & Partners.

Working on the thesis project to challenge the marginalisation and the exclusion in the city. The project explores ways of recreating inclusive spaces in Canary Wharf by spreading a ‘Social Carpet' in the city to slow down its pace.

Like any carpet, when touched with respect, the rhythm of walking is slowed down, when used to collectively sit on and gather around it, the collectiveness rises in a get-together environment by weaving the spaces together when flipped, hidden stitches can be revealed as the hidden communities in the city.
